Million Dollar Quartet announces National Tour for 2011!

The Broadway take on the legendary 1956 rock & roll jam session has done so well that it has just announced a National Tour for 2011! Million Dollar Quartet tickets have been flying off the shelves for its two current runs at New York City’s Nederlander Theatre and Chicago’s Apollo Theatre. You’ve still got a chance to get those tickets with the final show landing on July 1, 2010, but if you happen to not make it before the end no need to worry! The Million Dollar Quartet tour will be going nation-wide, hitting up multiple major cities so that fans won’t have to travel far to see this brilliant musical. With your purchase of Million Dollar Quartet tickets you’ll receive a seat in the audience for the re-inaction of that history making Sun Records’ studio jam session between legendary artists Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Those four put on a magical rock session that no one at the time got to see live, but with four great actors in the cast lineup for Million Dollar Quartet you’ll get to see what that fly on the wall view would have been like. The 64th Annual Tony Awards are just around the corner and nominations have just been announced! Million Dollar Quartet received the nomination for Best Musical, as well as Best Book of a Musical (Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux) and Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical (Levi Kreis).
